How to use MiniTool Partition Wizard to merge partition under Windows?

Merging partition means combining two partitions into one. In the Windows system, the disk management tool can delete the two adjacent partitions and then create one large capacity partition. Some users think this is merging partition. However, this is recreating partition. Although this will create a partition that is two times as large as the former ones, during the operation, users need to delete the partitions and backup the data before deleting. To merge partition under Windows, we need the professional partition magic such as MiniTool Partition Wizard which has high cost performance and we can use it to merge partition without keyboard. MiniTool Partition Wizard not only provides users with various editions, the Home Edition is free for family or individual users. It provides functions like create partition, delete partition, resize partition, copy partition, hide partition, etc. Please visit the official website of MiniTool Partition Wizard http://www.partitionwizard.com/ for downloading and more information. Let's see how MiniTool Partition Wizard merges partition without utilizing keyboard.

Use MiniTool Partition Wizard to merge partition
The function of merge partition is not provided in MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition. The presentation is conducted in the MiniTool Partition Wizard Server Edition v6.0 in Windows XP. This edition is not with high price and you can enjoy most of the functions with very little money (P.S: install MiniTool Partition Wizard must be installed on non-operating partition to avoid reboot of the computer and save a lot of time).
Run MiniTool Partition Wizard Server Edition v6.0 to enter into the main interface:

We can see all there are several kinds of functions about partition as well as disk. Let's take merging F: partition and G: partition for example. Choose one from the two, and click the "Merge Partition" in the "Operation" menu on the left.

In this interface, choose one partition in the red zone. This partition is going to be extended to contain the adjacent partition that is to be merged. Click "Next" to the next step:

P.S: the partitions to be merged should be NTFS partition and adjacent. If they are not, please use "Convert FAT to NTFS" function to convert the partition to NTFS, or use "Move/Resize" function to move the partition to the adjacent position.

In this interface, choose one adjacent partition in the red zone to be merged to the target partition. Specify a folder name this partition (P.S: the data will be saved to this folder in the merged partition. This avoids overwriting data because of filenames duplication). After setting, click "Finish" button to return to the main interface:

We can find that the F: partition and G: partition has been merged together. After making sure of everything, click the "Apply" button on the top left corner to execute pending operation.

With MiniTool Partition Wizard, we only need a few steps to successfully merge partitions under Windows. From the presentation, we can see the operation steps of merging partition are simple and clear, and there is no need to worry about the misoperation. Besides, MiniTool Partition Wizard has other functions like resize partition, change partition label, etc. The operation can be very simple for the users even if it is the first time.
