The Format of Audio CD



The red book defines the format of audio CD, it is the basis of CD, now let's see its physical structure. 


The sector in audio CD is called section. Each section shall be divided into 98 frames. Each frame has 36 bytes. Of which, 3 bytes of sync signal, 1 byte of Sub-code channel, 24 byte of user data, P and Q revise code each takes four bytes.
