Several ways to boot computer from the new disk after disk copy

We have several ways to boot computer from the new disk after disk copy:

Solution 1: Cancel the active status of current system partition with MiniTool Partition Wizard

Select any of the primary partition(D:) except the current system partition(C:) and set this primary partition as active.

Then, set this partition (D:) as inactive. Now, restart your computer and it will boot from the new disk (Disk 2) automatically.

Solution 2: Remove the old disk from the computer.

Solution 3: Set the new disk as the first boot disk with BIOS like the following screenshot shows.

The above screenshot shows that the first boot disk is Ch2 M. :ST315500341AS.

If we want to boot computer from the new disk (Ch3 M. :WDC WD10EALX-009BA0), we should move this disk upwards to the first place and make it the first boot disk.
